Located at the junction of Kilworth Road and Mill Lane. Parking is possible for 1-2 cars at the entrance gate on Mill Lane.
Public access. Visitors are welcomed at any time but are requested to treat the area, its flora and fauna with consideration especially when exercising pets. Open fires and overnight camping are not allowed.
Site species count:
Millennium Wood was created as a millennium project for the village on the site of a former village claypit and brickyard. A pond has been established, surrounded by mature Oak woodland. Remnant ridge and furrow grassland lies to the south of the site.
Kingfishers, Coot, Mallard and Heron have all been spotted at the pond.
