Ferndale Park is the main public open space in the village and has lots of wildlife interest as well as play and exercise equipment and mown grass! There are established wildflower meadows around the storm drainage area and parts of the previously mown grassland are now being managed for wildlife. These are some of the wildflowers to look out in the meadows and in the wilder margins.
