Now that we have our stats up to date after the website refresh it's time to celebrate the remarkable dedication of our recorders. 

The totals on the NatureSpot front page count full species only, genus-only records and species aggregates are not included. This total has been built up over 16 years since online recording began in late 2010. Nearly half of them have been seen in 2026 alone (with months still to go) but please don't stop recording, let's see how far we can get this year - 10,000 species anyone?
